LIVESTOCK

Protein and dairy products have long been a luxury to most Ivorian families. The absence of these products in the local diet has been the cause of such diseases as kwashiorkor, marasmus , improper children development due to lack of  calcium and birth defects among women. As important as it may be to promote good health through proper nutrition, it is even more imperative to create an abundant and affordable source of proteins.

IAA is committed to developing

  • - A  poultry  production and distribution facility  in Zambakro  for program participants
  • - A fresh milk and dairy producing and  processing plant  to create access and affordability
  • - Farm raised fish plants and markets that support the buying power of the Ivorian people.
